　　“五一”放假的時候老師給我們布置了一項作業：每人準備一份英語演講稿，可以是自己的父母、老師、學校，也可以是小動物，或者英語小故事，我準備的是《My family》。“五一”開學以后，老師在班里進行選拔，最后我們班被選中的`同學有魏奕博、劉向還有我，老師又對我們進行了多次輔導。老師要求我們首先要把自己的稿子讀熟練并讀出感情，不能像背書那樣速度那么快，在熟練的同時再背誦。我回家后每天都抽時間練習，一段一段地背熟練，讓媽媽幫我聽，還自己用手機錄音聽效果。

　　參加英語演講比賽的共有來自三至六年級的17名同學，他們看起來都信心十足，那些哥哥姐姐們在臺上都表現得非常出色。連主持人也是一名英語和一名漢語主持人。我是三年級的一號，快輪到我時我有點小緊張了，害怕自己說不好，我深伸吸了一口氣就上臺了，結果我說得還比較流利，沒有忘詞還發揮出了自己最好的水平。最后有4名同學獲得了一等獎，5名同學獲得了二等獎，8名同學獲得了三等獎。我獲得了二等獎。

　　演講比賽結束了，雖然我這次沒有獲得一等獎，但我從別人的身上看到了別人的優點和缺點，也看到了自己的優點和缺點，我現在還是一名三年級的學生，還是第一次參加這樣的比賽，以后還會有很多機會，這次活動對我來說也鍛煉了我的膽量和能力。以后我要好好學習，多多地參加各種活動來鍛煉自己。
