I've had a lot of things in my life, but there's only one thing that impresses me the most. That's -- riding a bike.
I remember nine years old, we even have children, all have bicycles, but I do not have. I would lie, crying, my mother to buy me a mother, no way, had promised.
The second day early in the morning, we are ready to move on together to buy a bike. Suddenly, I think: my father's aunt has a small bike when my sister. Then my mother said: "her aunt have a bike! Bring that bike and ride it!"
So my dad came into the Department and brought my older sister's bike.
Take it back. It's time to ride.
I can't ride. My dad took me to his seat and pushed me away. I twisted my body and rode. I didn't control my hand at first. It was crooked and I twisted against it.
When I reached a big ditch, my hand tilted inward, and I twisted in the other direction. Unexpectedly, I twisted against it, but not so good, I almost fell into the ditch. Fortunately, my father pulled in the back and I was glad I didn't fall. It is the spoils, escape from death in a great catastrophe!
That's one of the things I grew up with, and I thought, "it's not easy to do one thing."!
Last Saturday my classmates and I went to the old people’s home to help the old people. After we got there , we began to clean the rooms and wash clothes for the old people . We also talk to them. After that we played games with them. The old people were very happy. They laughed and laughed . And they said “Thank you” again and again. Though we were tired , we were also glad . Because we helped other people. I will not forget the happy thing.
As for me, adversity sometimes can be treasures imparting me a brand-new perspective of life.11 years ago,I was ungently sent to a municipal hospital in mid China to take a cerebral operation after falling down to the concrete ground accidentally.Lying on the bed, I was paralysed by the very thought of death.
Fortunately, 12 hours later,I woke up from anesthetized condition and the operation was quite successful. But the ensuing convalescence seemed more harrowing and excruciating, since the auxiliary intravenous injections were endless and tormented me all the day.
Now,I can tell that the unexpected spell from school not only separated me from my friends for a month, but also segregated me from the previous self forever. Some adults do not get a chance to introspect their lives until some calamities befall them, but I ,a seven-year-old girl,by enduring such an episode, had a change of heart. The sheerly paralysing fear of death, the sporadic throes of the wound, together with the isolation from other childern who played outsides, transformed me into a mature girl who for the first time began to treasure happy time, cogitate the unprecedented questions about life, and even meticulously planed for my future.
If it seems that I am more prepared than my peers,I owe it to my wrenched accident. To sum up, travails and throes of adversity can be invaluable treasures to us in many situations.
I still remember the first day I went to the zoo. When I was only five years old, my mother took me there. I was pleased to see so many real animals at the same time. They seemed so lovely and active. I spent a nice day. But on my way home, I began to feel sorry for them. They were taken away from their parents and friends and also far away from the nature. They must have felt lonely, I thought. Every day, the only thing they could do was to sit there and wait for food.
