Now, I know everyone has some sort(sorts)
of need to show off him (himself)or herself. And not all of “showing off” is offensive. Also, there is some good one.
I believe everyone like(likes) someone who boast or toot our own horn. In fact, I think person will not boast who has real ability. But someone who doesn’t have real ability, they often like showing off their little achievement. Then their behavior makes others sad. It’s so terrible. I hate it.
That is my understanding about these two paragraphs. But I have some questions. For example, there are some new words for me. Making me doesn’t understand the sentence. And there are some sentences difficult for me. My grammar is bad. For example, the seven paragraph, fifth sentence, there are three “that”, if I writ this sentence, I will not know how to use “that”.
Through studying these paragraphs, I learned some new words and some grammar.
